Windows 10: My bitlocker is missing from my laptop.

My laptop has windows pro edition. The prompt where the pass is to be entered does not show on opening the protected drive. It was working earlier but now it does not show anything and also my device encryption support is not availabe.When in administrator mode of cmd, the command "manage-bde -status" displays that 'manage-bde' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Missing of BitLocker in Windows 10 Laptop

A day before i installed wndows 10 in my laptop and today i found missing of bitlocker from all the local drive but it is showing turn on only for Local disk C by going in the setting for BitLocker ,soleve this solution . Suggest me something, i am blank.

 

Bitlocker Randomly Enabled

Hi,

On my personal Lenovo laptop, Bitlocker somehow randomly was enabled. I have not enabled it, and I followed the recovery steps without luck. It seems that it was enabled during an update. I logged into my Microsoft account, see that the laptop is listed, but there is no bitlocker key listed. I am at a loss on what the next steps might be for me to be able to log into my computer at this point.

Need to turn off Bitlocker to install Windows 10

We suggest doing the following steps again to resolve the issue. To complete the procedure, make sure that you have the following information:

• You must be able to provide administrative credentials.
• The drive must be BitLocker-protected.

To suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption on an operating system drive, please follow the steps below:

• Click Start, click Control Panel, click
  System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
• Click Suspend Protection for the operating system drive.
• A message is displayed, informing you that your data will not be protected while BitLocker is suspended and asking if you want to suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption.
  
• Click Yes to continue and suspend BitLocker on the drive.
