    n8 unlock lock - no keyboard available

    I have a brand new n8.

    The phone lock feature has automatically locked the phone. If I press the menu key I can see the time and date and a Unlock icon. When I press the unlock icon I can see the background pictire and a giant lock. But I do not get a number keypad like earlier.
    I just see the lock.



    Pressing power on/off does nothing.



    How can I get the keypad visible so I can enter the unlock code?

    Unlocking a brand new laptop!!

    Hope someone may be able to help.

    Our daughter bought a Lenovo Ideapad M11X310 for our grandson's Birthday today..set it up last night ready for birthday today. Other Grandson was checking it out last night and it would appear it is now locked!!

    Can anyone advise how to unlock it? very upset 9 year old this morning!

    The screen comes up but cannot do anything as it says account locked?

    She has tried contacting Microsoft..then looked online...but its all over her head (and mine). Microsoft say it will be locked for 24 hours?

    Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

    PC Build Steps

    Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval
    • Install system in case
      • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
    • Turn on PC
    • setup HDD
    • run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
      • run realtemp at the same time
    • While in Prime95 test
      • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
      • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
      • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!
    What do you guys think??
