Windows 10: My Brand New computer is missing its windows 11 product key

Title says it all. Just bought a pre-assembled computer from Best Buy, but it says my windows key is not registers, and when I click register now, it says I don't have a product key. I was under the impression all new computers came with a valid key built in.

Brand New windows key won't work.

I recently bought a windows product key from amazon for my newly built pc. I installed windows, inputted the product key.

All seemed fine. A day later it is prompting me to input the product key and when I do it is saying the key has been used on another computer. Baring in mind I bought this brand new from amazon.

Any suggestions?

Thank you for contacting Microsoft community.

I suggest you to Uninstall the license using the following steps.

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (Admin)
• At the command prompt, type: slmgr.vbs -upk
• Press Enter, this will uninstall the product key from the computer.

Further on, install Windows 8.1 activate the copy with the product key on the new machine. Then again upgrade the same to Windows 10 using Window Update or Media Creation Tool.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
