Windows 10: My brightness goes to the maximum brightness when charging, sliding the brightness down...

The brightness used to be adjustable regardless of whether its charging or not. Now i cant even adjust the brightness when its charging. Using fn and the brightness buttons on my keyboard doesnt work. Control panels doesn't work. Using the brightness slider also doesnt work. Its annoying

The brightness on the screen goes bright when laptop is fully charged on windows 8.1.

I have the following issue when the battery on my laptop is charging and it reaches full the screen brightness flash’s very bright then goes back to normal brightness, is there a way to stop this from happening.

Any help would be appreciated.

Brightness increases to maximum.

My eyes are sensitive to light, so I work with my Dell laptop at minimum brightness.

But as I switch on my dell laptop every morning, 5 out of 10 times, while the laptop is booting, the brightness gets suddenly to maximum (0 to 100%) by itself. Immediately after the booting is complete, I slide it back to 0.

This phenomenon is happening after installing an update some six months ago. I keep my windows up to date.

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.
