Windows 10: My built-in camera for my Dell laptop doesn't work.

I got this laptop from a pawn shop, it was in good condition and was a little over a year old. However, recently I needed my camera for a Zoom call and it didn't work. When I say it didn't work, it just showed me a black screen, I tried going through settings, to no avail. I also checked the camera app and there was no error message, it only displayed a black screen. The camera also looks unobstructed so I have no idea what is happening.I didn't know what topic to list this under

Camera N96 doesn´t work

When I press the camera button to take a picture the phone says. "Camera: the function doesn´t exits" in swedish "Kamera: Funktionen stöds inte."



And I can´t send mms either but the phone is set up properly. It´s like it missing softwear to work, i have no usb cable and the Nokia softwear updater seems to only work with the usb cable instead of bluetooth. I have reasently format the harddrive and
there is a 64 mb memorycard in the phone.



any ideas?

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Dell Monitor Camera

I have a Dell Monitor hooked to a Dell XPS Laptop. I want to use the monitor camera not the laptop camera. I've tried the suggestions from a closed thread about activating the camera but when I try the steps it keeps going to the laptop camera.

Suggestions or am I asking the impossible.
