Windows 10: My built-in Realtek microphone on my laptop is picking up all desktop audio

I have a Legion 5 Lenovo laptop, and my mic picks up all the audio from my games and applications and such. I tried:* Updating to old driver* Stereo mix is off* Listen to this device is off* Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device is offWhat do I try? If it's a hardware problem, is that something a warranty can fix?

Built in Microphone not working

I've been having a problem with my laptop (MSI GF63) Built it microphone that it's not picking any sound. It was working the day i bought the laptop (few weeks ago) and for some reasons it stopped working all of the sudden. I tried to check the privacy setting
and it's all good and there's nothing interfering with the mic. I also tried to reinstalling the driver (Realtek HD audio) multiple times and still no luck. I even reset windows and It worked for a day (Before i shut the laptop down i believe) and it's not
working again . The weird thing is when i try to "set up the microphone" the built in mic, the troubleshooter doesn't gave me the step where you try to speak to your mic and straight up just gave me "Your microphone might need to be set up" with the green
checklist logo on the right still having the same problem.

> Right-click the Speaker icon on the Taskbar.

> Select "Sound Settings."

> Double-check that both the Output and Input devices are listed as your headset.

 

Microphone is not picking up any audio.

My microphone is not picking up any audio for no apparent reason. It was working fine yesterday night and is not working now. This issue happened a few months ago as well and I tried everything and had to resolve it by resetting windows. Now, it has happened again and I do not want to reset my windows and to reinstall all the apps. Please suggest something. Here's what I have tried:

- Restarting my laptop.
- Troubleshooting for the settings
- Turning it on and off from manual key on the laptop keyboard.
- Checking if the microphone array is on default
- Checking the settings in device manager
- Updating windows
- Checking permissions are given to the apps for my microphone
- Turning off exclusive control by an app from task manager
- Reinstalling the drivers by downloading the software from Realtek website.

My laptop is a Lenovo Legion 5. The microphone is "2 Realtek" microphone array.

Or suggest a way to reset windows without losing all my apps and data.
