my c drive contains window and program files. it has almost reached its full capacity so new updates are not installed, which files folders i can delete to free space

My Laptop D drive apparently not used and contains just DUMP****.tmp files

I have a relatively new Laptop. It has a partitioned drive with a C (windows) and D (data). My laptop does not ever seem to use the D data drive. Experiencing system issues due to the C: having memory requirement issues and needing to delete apps and such. I really don't have much as far as apps or programs. In fact I resorted to removing a PDF reader which I do actually use.

• The Windows C: has a capacity of 118 GB and currently 91.2 used
  
• The Data D: has a capacity of 931 GB and 29.2 used --> but only 5 "DUMP ****.tmp" files show in the explorer window that show a total 6.12 GB

Extend C drive capacity

Disk Management lets you view and manage the disk drives installed in your computer as well as the partitions associated with those drives. In order to sort this out, kindly answer the following questions:

• What did you mean when you wanted to extend C: drive capacity?
• Are you planning to free up disk space?

Need Help Files Transfer

I have a computer running Windows XP Home Edition. That computer has two internal HDDs:

The 1st HDD is C:\ that running Windows. And it has 20GB total of capacity.
The 2nd HDD is D:\ that is empty. And it has 90GB total of capacity.

The C:\ drive is almost run out of space (full). Is there a way I can transfer everything in the C:\ drive to the D:\ drive and begin to use the D:\ drive from there on as primary drive?
Can the Windows Files Transfer feature in XP transfer everything I have in C:\ to D:\? If it cannot, then which way can I use to perform the above step?
