Windows 10: My C drive got full automatically

Hi,I'm using the Computer regularly not more than 5 hours a day. But one day I found that my C drive got full.I opened the drive and searched for thing which consumed the lot of storage I didn't find anything and there are softwares in my computer which consumes lots of storage.Later I've gone through with the all the solutions provided in the Microsoft support but it didn't work at all. Later I saw the storage settings that none of the categories mentioned the settings is not full.Kindly process my request and send the solution as soon as possible.Thank You Sai Krishna

Files in C: drive automatically compressing?

As you may already know, if this feature is on, every new folder/file you add starts off automatically compressed. If you would like to turn it off for the whole drive, kindly follow these steps:

• Start File Explorer . In the left pane, right-click on the drive that you would not want to be compressed.
• Click Properties.
• Make sure that the Compress this drive to save disk space box is unchecked.
• Click OK then Apply.

Stuck in Automatic Repair = inadvertently changed C: drive path?

@zbook- what I'm suggesting should resurrect the PC, provided what's left on the "C:" is at all viable - the clean install is just a step to that. Saves a lot of technical bits and time on our part.

  Press Windows +E,
  
• 
  Right click on C: drive.
  
• 
  Select Sharing Tab.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced Sharing.
  
• 
  Uncheck “Share this folder”.
