    A couple days ago, my computer stopped working for “inaccessible boot device” error. I tried everything that is available, and now resetting windows will be the only option now.However, before I did. I was checking my files in cmd making sure everything is there and I noticed that my c drive contents are in my d drive. Stuff like:WindowsUsersProgram files and x86 versionTempAppsDriversThese files are supposed to be on my c drive. But all of a sudden after my computer stopped working due to the error, my files were moved. And neither do I have any recollection of my moving the files my self

    Swap C & D Drive back to SSD & HHD

    I had some issues with updating Windows: Redirecting

    I followed the steps but I noticed that Windows 11 was working really slowly. I looked on Task Manger and it looks like my drives have swapped? Originally my C drive was the SSD and D drive was HDD but now they have swapped so C Drive is HDD and D is SSD.

    How can you swap your drives?

    how to move C drive from SSD to HDD?

    I have a Windows 10 desktop. My problem is that the C drive is a small SSD, 120G. I have tried to install programs to D drive whenever possible, but C is still full. I want to move my C drive (SSD) and merge with the existing D drive (HDD). What is a good way to do this, without re-installing Windows 10? If it is hard to do that, I have a larger SSD (240G). How can I move my C drive to the larger SSD? Thanks!

    If we store our programs in C: (SSD ) will it be faster when it's stored in D: (HDD) ?

    Hi there! This is LOKESH,

    My laptop configuration is 256GB SSD (C: drive) and 1TB HDD (D: or E: ), Intel i5 11th gen.

    *My query is if I install my programs in C: (i.e SSD) will it be faster than when it is stored in HDD like D:?

    *If I use 90% of C: will it reduce the performance of OS? and if I left more space in C: will my OS perform well?

    *Can you give your suggestion that where should I install my programs ( SSD or HDD) but my SSD space is low (256GB)!
