    My C Drive suddenly says NTFS and says "access denied" every time I try to click on it....


    My computer suddenly crashed and restarted saying that it was performing hard disk repairs. However, after it restarted, my C drive suddenly said "NTFS" underneath it and also would not let me access it it said "access denied". I tried running chkdsk /r in safe mode, but that didn't change anything at all. Also, everything I try to access comes up the same error, saying "windows cannot access [the file location]" with the error code 0x800704b3. Please, help me.

    Access denied on my C drive

    I downloaded windows10. Was trying to share some folders from my laptop to another, did something to my sharing on C drive and it stopped working. Even when I follow the instructions of people who have had almost the same problem I get an "Access is denied"
    alert.

    It has gone so far as to refuse to go into command with "run as administrator" option. Anything I try access is denied, it says the action cannot be completed because its being used by another user. I restarted my laptop now I have lost all my files, music
    etc :-(

    Can't write to any external drive. Says destination file access denied.

    Hello,

    For a long time now, any time I try to write to ANY external drive (usb, ssd, hdd). I keep getting destination file access denied. I have tried a lot of fixes available on the internet:

    • I formatted the drive to NTFS and gave it permissions
    • I ran diskpart and gave it permissions
    • Changed WriteProtect to 0
    • Edited group policy editor fix
    • reinstalled my usb drivers
    • among many more

    I am at a loss on what to do. Thank you.

    Whenever I connect any pendrive or hard disk it says access denied for pen drive I googled got the solution for pendrive but I need to follow the steps everytime I connect give me the permanent solution and steps for hard drive access denied
