Windows 10: My camera is locked. I used to be able to roll the driver back to get it to unlock and...

Camera turns on with camera or Teams app but the screen shows a padlock. In the past by rolling the driver back to an older version in Device Manager it would unlock and work. This had to be repeated each time the computer rebooted. After the most recent windows update the camera is still locked but I have lost the option to roll back the driver in Device Manager.

I suggest you to follow the below steps for arranging the camera pictures in recent order and check if it helps.

• Press “Windows+E” it will open file explorer.
• Go to “This PC” and click on “pictures folder”.
• Then click on “camera roll folder”.
• And right click on the empty space and select “sort by” option.
• Then select ascending option.

• Click OK.
