My camera is showing a line through it and troubleshooting says that it is being accessed on another app but I don't know where

Suggestion: /? (-?) and /help (-help) command-line arguments to show a list of all possible arguments in a small window. *Smile

 

Windows says no internet access when computer is on-line, can't update or troubleshoot

As far as I can tell all of my applications, including Edge, can access the internet without a problem, in fact I'm using the computer to post this right now, but Windows says there's "no internet access." Every so often it disconnects from the net apparently
on its own for no reason, saying that action is required to connect to my network. When I click to connect to the network again it goes back on-line and brings up the msn homepage but still says "no internet access." To be clear, I'm able to use the internet
normally despite what it says.

Possibly related issue is that Windows Update doesn't seem to work. It's able to check for updates but won't download or install anything. All the updates just say "Pending download" and nothing happens. I've tried using the troubleshooter for the network
center as well as Windows Update, and it tells me to "Complete the logon process," giving me an option to "Show me where I can do the above task." When I click on that it opens a browser window to microsoft.com with no further explanation. When I go to the
next step in the troubleshooter it tells me to "sign up with with this network's ISP to get access to the internet."

settings to see if the camera access is turned on. Kindly follow the steps below to check the camera privacy settings:

• Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
• Near the top of the Settings app window is the search box, kindly type the word "webcam" or "camera".
• From the list of results choose Camera privacy settings.
• Make sure that "Let apps use my camera" toggle is set to On.
