Windows 10: My Camera is working in MS Teams and Google meet etc and showing to me. However, is not...

Hihaving issues with both my camera and at times, screensharing through both MS Teams and others such as Google Meet.My Camera is working in MS Teams and Google meet etc and showing to me. However, is not being received by others in the meeting.Very odd as everything appears on my screen as expected - my video image is showing to me, so my camera is working. If i screenshare, this is shown to me in the meeting, however, at times neither are being received by others in the meeting.I'm running Windows 11. All updates are correct, all apps are current. Internet/network is fine. Permissions are

MS Teams camera is not working .

I have been using MS Teams for School work and during Team meetings the camera does not work and hence i am not visible during meeting. I have tried these possible troubleshootings but to no avail such as 1. enable the camera in the in the settings 2. went to application setttings and enabled camera and 3. Uninstall and install MS Teams .

 

Microsoft Surface Book 2 camera showing blank in MS Teams

Hope I've posted this in the right forum.

I have a Corporate user who is using a Microsoft Surface Book 2, and he's experiencing issue activating the built-in camera when using TEAMS only. Both the front and rear facing camera shows a blank black image. The light next to the front facing camera does light up thou.

The native MS camera app works fine and shows the video correctly suggesting that it's not a hardware fault.

And here comes the strange part - If I undock the screen from the keyboard and start Teams again the camera works and it will continue to work once I dock it back into the keyboard. However the problem returns if I quit Teams or restart the machine....which is a nuisance to perform this workaround everytime it reboots.

He had this same issue couple of months back, but somewhere it started working for some unknown reason....until the problem returns...

As mentioned since it's a corp device it is unfortunately stuck on Win10 build 1709 (for now), and he is the only person that has the device in the business and nobody else.....

Any suggestion or idea of how to resolve this is greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Zoom, Microsoft TEAMS, Google meet, and any online app not getting permission to use microphone/ camera

Camera and microphone are not connecting when using Zoom, TEAMS, or Google Meet. However, it works when using Skype which is downloaded on the laptop. The default camera app on the laptop has functioning microphone and video.

I have gone through the permissions settings on windows and have made sure that the apps have the relevant permissions. I have also updated the driver. Nothing makes a difference. Cannot use Zoom etc on Chrome, or any other browser.

The Zoom and TEAMS apps do not show up on the list below. And they also do not show on the similar list for Camera settings.

Urgent help needed! Have interviews for job and they're all on Zoom and/ or TEAMS.
