Windows 10: My camera stopped working, and I have uninstalled Zoom. Error code 0xA00F4289...

Lenovo Ideapad Flex 15, Realtek Integrated Camera. Latest Windows 10 Update. I have uninstalled, reinstalled the camera. The camera only shows a gray screen with the crossed off camera image, and the same with the video. The function buttons seem to work, but don't no picture or video shows. Zoom meetings do not have any video, the audio works fine. I've actually uninstalled Zoom to check if it was the problem, and also have disabled my realtime McAfee antivirus and firewall, but this did not solve the problem. Will Microsoft provide a fix or patch for this in a Windows 10 Update, as I seem to think the last update may be the culprit.

black camera screen with thos message flickering on/off. Says cant find my camera. Thus affects my using Skype Nd Zoom Apps

 

Video is not working for Zoom or Skype

Hello,

Have you checking the privacy settings if Camera is ON on both Zoom and Skype?

Go to Setting > Privacy > Camera > make sure the toggle button for both Zoom and Skype are ON.

If my suggestion did not solve the issue, please reply back and confirm if there is an error message or error code so we can try other step.

Might as well open the Camera App and test if it's working there so we can narrow down the problem.

Lenovo Yoga, Win 10, Camera not working, Flashing error codes 0xA00F4289 and 0xa00f4244

Hi,

My integrated camera on my Lenovo Yoga does not work.

Everytinme when I am trying to use the Camera app on windows 10, I'm getting flashing error messages alternately: 0xA00F4289<Active Camera Unplugged> and 0xa00f4244<NocamerasAreAttached>.

I searched it online and I have made sure that my anti-virus is not blocking the camera and privacy for camera setup is on, and I'm having the latest driver.

However, I'm still getting the same error messages, and I can see that the camera is sort of flashing when the error messages appear alternately.

Anyone help please?
