Windows 10: My camera suddenly stopped working. I think it is either getting blocked or used by another...

My camera suddenly stopped working and I don't really understand why. I tried to uninstall and install the camera driver in Device Manager. But it did not help. I tried using Process Explorer searching #vid, kill the trees. But it gave me error : parameter is not correct. I am unable to use the device camera. It got stopped suddenly and not getting on. please suggest a solution.

My camera suddenly stopped working and I searched high and low for a fix. After hours of searching, I found it and it was simple. IF YOU'RE USING A RECENT VERSION OF AN HP LAPTOP, CHECK IF YOU'VE GOT A SO-CALLED 'KILL SWITCH.' THAT'S ON THE RIGHT SIDE
OF THE COMPUTER. IF INADVERTANTLY SWITCHED SO THE ORANGE PATCH SHOWS, THEN IT BLOCKS YOUR CAMERA. SWITCH IT OFF AND VOILA-- CAMERA'S BACK IN OPERATION.
