Windows 10: My camera/webcam on Windows 11 all of a sudden stopped working.

I recently downloaded a new Windows update on my laptop, and I tried to do a call on Discord with my friends and all of a sudden, my webcam will not work. It shows up with a camera not working screen. I tried everything. I restarted my laptop, I installed two other updates, I tried updating and uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, I shut down my laptop, and I did the camera troubleshooting. Nothing that they said on the internet worked. The above image says the webcam is covered which is untrue. Even if the webcam button is lit up above my laptop it still does not work. I really do not wa

If you have the camera connected to the computer, I would suggest that you disconnect the camera and then try to open the Camera app.



If the camera app opens, follow the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + C” from your keyboard to open “Charms bar”.
• Select “Settings” option.
• Select “Permissions” option.
• Turn on “Allow this app to access your: Webcam and Microphone” option.
• Lose the app by pressing “Alt key + F4” from your keyboard.
• Reopen the Camera app.
• Connect your camera and then check how this app works.
