    My mom and I got a photo booth to start a business, but the Windows computer won’t connect to our camera.

    Canon has quite a lot of software that goes along with the Rebel T7. If you didn't get a CD or DVD with the camera, go here:

    When you say you "went to the Photo app on the laptop," that suggests that you have Windows 10 rather than Windows 7 (you asked your question in the Windows 7 forum). Which version of Windows do you have?

    What I suggest is that you read through the various manuals to determine which software you need. If you don't have printed manuals, you can download PDFs here:

    For example, the "Wireless Function Instruction Manual," reveals that the wi-fi feature of your camera can only be used to communicate between the camera and (a) a smartphone (iOS or Android), (b) a "web service" (e.g., Canon's iMage Gateway), (c) a "Canon
    Connect Station," (d) a w-fi enabled printer, or (e) another camera. Your laptop isn't included in that list.

    Start with the "Basic Instruction Manual" and/or the "Instruction Manual." The section "Downloading images to a computer" starts at page 101 of the "Basic Instruction Manual." It seems that at least you should download and install the "EOS Utility 3.12.10
    for Windows" (see the first link above). At a quick glance, it seems that one file is good for various different versions of Windows, but make sure that the website correctly identifies your version. In addition to the file download link, click the link
    for the directions.

    Also download and read the "EOS Utility Instruction Manual."

    Connect canon rebel t6 to surface pro 4

    I hook my canon t6 rebel up to my surface pro 4 and nothing happens. nothing shows as connected to usb at all no drives are found and I cannot import any photos.
