  1. My chosen photo for my LOCK SCREEN changed without my doing!

Hi, I have been using a photo I choose for my lock screen. Today when I turn on my computer, it is the Blue Windows 11 one. I came here earlier and followed directions by going to Personalization, clicking on the Lock Screen and reselecting my photo I want. I then restarted my computer to verify it is there. When the computer restarts, it is the Microsoft Blue Screen. ???I am the only user! How is it I cannot change my lock screen photo to the one I want? I have spent more time trying to figure out issues than anything else. This is getting tiring. Can anything ever just operate properly?

    :)

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

    1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
    2. Click on Personalization.
    3. Click on Lock screen.
    4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
      Picture.
    5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.

    Hope it helps.
