  2. CMD Broken

    Hi, recently, I updated my NVIDIA Drivers, after this, my CMD won't start anymore, it briefly opens and then closes, even trying using the CMD via PowerShell does nothing I followed the steps from this thread: Redirecting ,
    and the only thing I was able to do was opening normal CMD(without admin privilege, it doesn't work) in a new profile, please help.

    Thinking about Going back to Win8.1


    If want to disable IE, still can. However, can't uninstall it like were able to in XP/98/whatever.
    Here's how, although I find it useful in case Chrome or Firefox stops working and have to re-download it. *Wink
    1. Search for turn windows features on or off and click it in the search results.

    2. When the app opens, uncheck Internet Explorer 11.

    3. Click Yes on the warning dialog.

    4. Click OK.

    5. Restart for the changes to finish.

    Windows and CMD- renaming a file in CMD

    Steps I've done

    Here what happens


    • turn on PC

    • start windows

    • get blue screen ( message NTFS file)

    • it reboots returns to diagnosing PC

    • Diagnose and repair fails

    • I move to advance options

    • will not reset windows , I click on CMD

    things I've tried
    commands:

    reagentc /disable

    reagentc /enable

    *************************FAILED
    not recognized
    **********************************

    Please advise
