Windows 10: My colors are all messed up by upgrade to Windows 11 -- please help

I just upgraded my HP Laptop high end graphics, Intel i7, 512GB SSD, 16GB memory to Windows 11 -- everything on my Desktop just turned to pale ugly colors. Windows 11 is full of features that are extremely confusing. In Excel, all my shade colors of certain cells have completely turned white. I wish I didn't upgrade -- after hours of tinkering with settings, accessibility and personalization, nothing seems to work. It's a disaster -- could some expert kindly provide a simple solution that involves a single theme with de factor colors for shading, icons, selected text, etc..?? Please he

how to fix messed up colors on windows 11. But when i use other devices or when i go to advanced restart on windows it looks fine, but when i go to login screen, colors look messed up and same problem on desktop. How did this ahppened. Well, i was installing game and i wanted to play roblox, but when i opened game it was updating and that's how problem occured

In post #11 above, between step 6 and 7, I suggest running the following command to make sure the correct one has been selected.

I have never used Rufus to create a bootable Windows device.

 

Window background color - I don't appear to be able to do this on windows 10 as the change color scheme bit isn't there.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change color scheme for Windows 10 and check if it helps.

• Right click on “Desktop screen”.
• Then click on “Personalize”.
• Click on “Colors”.
• And change the color accordingly.
