    My company is asking if we as developers need Local Admin Rights. I'm sure it is an attempt to be more secure and not allow users install software willy nilly or change computer settings that would shutdown their laptops.But I say that we developers DO need Local Admin Rights in order to install our IDEs or other tools that we may need to do our jobsWe have the typical IDEs that are readily used worldwide; MS Sql Server management studio, Visual Studio, but we may need to run two or more versions concurrently, and we don't know what IDE we need in the future . Then there are addon tools to he
