Windows 10: My company uses azure/office365/sharepoint so we don't have microsoft accounts, how do I...

The Link my phone requires that I have a microsoft account. Techincally there is no microsoft account for my work email, even though we use microsoft services for everything. I sign in through Azure. What do I do? Is there an alternate protocol?

BitLocker Recovery Key Stored in Azure AD not Microsoft Account

I have a personal Microsoft account, which I use to log into two machines, a desktop and a laptop. I own both machines.

I also have an Office 365 account, and I am the admin of this for our company. I have two OneDrives, one personal, and one connected to Sharepoint on Office365. I also use Outlook, which is connected to both Outlook.com for my personal email, and Office365
for work email.

I log onto both machines using my Microsoft Account. Neither machine is connected to a domain.

When I try to back up my Bitlocker key from the Surface Book, I am not given the option to save it to my Microsoft account. I am given the option to save it to my "cloud domain account." When I do this, the key is saved in Azure, under Users.

I don't really want this. It's a personal laptop, I own it, and I'd like to be able to access the Bitlocker key even if I am no longer at my current organisation. I'd like to save the key to my Microsoft account.

Why is this happening, and how can I remove whatever hooks Azure AD has got in my laptop, while retaining access to the Office365 OneDrive / Sharepoint and Office365 email?

Or, how can I force the key to be saved in my personal Microsoft Account, and not in the organisations Azure AD account?

 

Can I link an Office365 account with an Azure instance with a Microsoft Dev Center account?

I've got the Office365 account linked to Azure, no troubles there; my issue now is I'd like to create a Dev Center account with that Office365 account and it doesn't let me do that. It just gives me the
"You are signed in as ********@******** which is not associated with a Dev Center account. If you believe this is an error, try deleting your browser cookies and then do one of the following" message which doesn't help.

Is this because it's an Office365 account? Or because the admin of the accounts needs to allow access to create the Dev Center account? Or can I link my personal Microsoft account to the Office365 account? Or does it not matter if the bot is listed
by my personal account, if all the development and hosting is done on the workplace one?

I have what I assume to be an Office365 account with my workplace, when I try to sign up for a Dev account so I can publish a Microsoft Teams bot to the store, it tells me that the account isn't associated with a Dev Center account (obviously, because I'm
trying to set it up).

So, can I use my personal Microsoft account to publish the bot from the Azure account that I have with the work account?
