Windows 10: My compiuters backround keeps turning grey after i try to select something on it

When i try to copy something on my computers backround it turns grey, but after some times it returns to normal and most of my apps keep crashing. i tried resetting my computer, updating to the latest version. Please help me fix this problem.

desktop has turned a grey tint and the icons are gone

windows 10 upgraded from 8.1 ...the app screen turns on ..and uses grey tinted desktop as backround

 

Favorite selected keeps coming back

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.



Step1: Try deleting the Favorites in User profile and check if it helps.

• 
  Open C: Drive.
  
• 
  Select User.
  
• 
  Select user profile.
  
• 
  Click on Favorites.
  
• 
  If you’re able to see the favorites list, then you
  can delete the Favorites from there and check if it helps.

Keep programs running whilst screen is turned off - MSBook

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Left Pane select Choose when to turn off the display.
• Select the Time to turn off the display. Click Save Changes.
• Check if the issue resolves.
