    My computer annoying me. Starts up slow runs at 100% disk


    I've had my Omen desktop 870-244 for about two years now but I've only lately started coming across issues with it lately. It takes a while for my computer to turn on, shut down, and for some reason whenever it does start up it runs at 100% disk. I turned off a majority of my apps that start up. On top of that, occasionally I find my computer freezing up when I'm just randomly using my programs or even google chrome. Playing games is completely fine it runs fast, but Clip Studio Paint and Chrome give me occasional issues. I don't know what to do please help. I had a friend who said it was an issue with my hard drive but I don't know what that means

    disk is at 100%. Computer is slow

    My window 10 HP laptop is slow and sometimes unresponsive. Disk is at 100% when nothing is running

    Hi,

    We do agree that slow computer performance will be annoying. Have you referred to the articles about “Windows performance recorder” and “How to fix 100% disk usage in Windows 10” mentioned in our previous post. Which may help you to resolve your issue.

    Possibly an applications installed on your computer might be causing the problem, Suggest you to uninstall the apps which are not used frequently on your computer.

    Make sure you have enough Random access memory on your computer to run multiple apps on your computer, if there is no space consider increasing your memory space.
