Windows 10: My computer audio isn't working even though my drivers are up to date.

Recently I had dropped my computer, not hard and there was zero damage dealt, and I'm no tech whiz so I may be doing something wrong but even before it was dropped my audio was faulty. I went into audio settings and I have my volume all the way up, I tried using YouTube and my video wasn't muted and neither was my audio but no sound. All of my drivers are up to date, I asked my brother and he said uninstalling and reinstalling drivers was risky especially if I'm not sure how to. I tried playing games and still no audio, I need help. I tried the Microsoft troubleshooting thing and it said it wa

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Cortana isn´t working

When I hit enter, it did something, but there´s still no Cortana, even after restart. So I tried it again, but now it says that it failed, because it´s already installed and it´s working in PC. So it should work, but Cortana still isn´t here.

 

AUDIO SERVICE NOT WORKING.

In that case, I suggest you follow below.

Step 1:

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results.

Step 2:

Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.

Step 3:

Look for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. If it's listed, right-click it and select Update Driver, then select Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Step 4:

You’ll see a list of pre-installed drivers. Select High Definition Audio Device, and then select Next.

Step 5:

Restart PC
