    When I launch applications like Discord or Steam, they will cause both of my monitors to go black and my computer to briefly freeze before finally opening. And when I try to launch some videogames, like Fortnite, Overwatch 2, or Red Dead Redemption 2 it will do the same thing, and the game will crash.This started a few days after I had installed new RAM onto my computer, everything was working fine before the new RAM and a few days to a week after I had installed it to my computer.I have a prebuilt alienware aurora r12 with a 11th Gen IntelR CoreTM i7-11700F and a GTX 3060ti, I upgraded fr

    Computer flickers to black screen then blue screens when launching games

    When I launch majority of games on my computer, the game launches for a second or two before both of my monitors turn black and flash on and off briefly showing my desktop before my computer eventually blue screens after a few minutes. I have tried installing new graphics drivers however i have the same problem. There are a few games that run perfectly with no problem, however the majority just crash my pc.

    When blue screened, I am given the stop code as

    “Stop code: DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE”

    Looking at event viewer, Kernel-power, with event id 41 and task category (63) is shown as the reason for the critical event.

    any suggestions on what to do to solve this issue,
