    Battery won't charge past 60 percent

    I have an alienware 17R3 laptop with windows 10 Pro. Windows just recently updated and now my battery wont charge past 60 percent. I want to be able to change the settings so that it will charge to 100 percent again.

    Hi Rita,

    The feature or tool that you're using to limit the battery charging up to 60% or 80% was made by your OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) which is Asus .Windows 10 doesn't have a built-in feature that will allow users to limit the charging of battery.
    We suggest that you contact Asus so that they can help you set up the battery charging limiter tool. To know how to contact Asus, follow the steps

    My computer can only charge up to 60% how can I change it back to 100%.

    laptop battery wont charge to 100%

    I recently got a new laptop and i have noticed that the battery does not charge to 100% it only goes up to 60%

    once its at 60% it shows its connected but it says "not charging"

    Im not sure it is a setting and can change how much the battery can be charged or if i got a faulty battery

    My laptop is a Lenovo G51 and is running on Windows 10
