Windows 10: My computer froze and now cant boot at all, endless wheel spin or black screen. Cant get to...

I have an Acer predator orion 3000, has 16gb ram, 2070gtx with one 512gd ssd and one 2tb hard drive, it had windows 11 installed. So while playing some game my computer screen went completely black with some purple outlines of the remaining graphics on both screens and my speakers were screaming some sound. This also happened about 2 days ago but i kinda just hoped that it wouldnt happen again. So i've tried the following things:-I tried changing BIOS setting to start in cpm or something like that mode with safe mode turned off and in legacy boot. Computer takes about 5 minutes to boot up with a black screen and spinning wheel

Went through the process in the guide of solution #1 and I’m not having the issue anymore even when I have all services turned on and startup options enabled. The problem went away when I restarted after disabling all services besides the Microsoft ones. Even after re selecting all the services the problem does not come back.

The black screen with the spinning wheel comes up for about 6 seconds then a black screen with a spinning dot wheel that says please wait comes up for about 1 second and then sends me to the login screen which has no slowdowns.

I ran solution 2 as well and booting in safe mode takes the same amount of time and runs through the same screens as described above except the black screen with the dotted spinning wheel.

Seems like it’s resolved itself but still unsure what was causing it.

 

Windows 10 Boot Failure, Spinning Wheel of Death

I hate it when Microsoft sends out an update to Windows 10 because I know that after the update installs my computer won't boot - just get a black screen with a spinning wheel of dots. Has anyone figured out how to boot once you get the black screen with
just the spinning dots?

Thank you so much. I have an older hp laptop. Did not ask for either W10 or this update. Am not that computer literate. Anyway, black screen with spinning wheel for 8 hours. Unplugged wireless mouse and was at 75% and within 30 min I now have sign on screen.
Now to see if stuff works!
