    My computer had bluetooth but no longer has it, how do I fix it?


    On restart my computer got rid of blue tooth now I can't connect my mouse because it says that bluetooth is not available on the computer.

    Bluetooth in windows 10

    My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

    I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

    Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision

    Bluetooth disappeared from computer

    I appreciate the help. Two, things. First, the drivers for the Bluetooth were actually hidden for some reason in device manager. All drivers appeared to be present, but were greyed out and the RFCOMM and Intel specific driver for the Bluetooth itself listed
    a code of 45 and stated it was no longer connected to the computer, reconnect. This was listed under properties for the drivers mentioned. Second, after I uninstalled the driver and downloaded and installed all 3 drivers listed on the Lenovo website, this
    did not fix the problem. I was unable to access Bluetooth within device manager and they weren't even in the show hidden drivers option. However, resetting my computer did fix the problem, but oddly enough a BIOS installer appeared prior to setup, ran rather
    autonomously once I stepped through the wizard, but the problem is now fixed. I was willing to reset the computer because this computer was purchased only a week ago, so no significant risk to losing any data and Microsoft does a pretty good job of transitioning
    important things across platforms. Thanks for the help.
