    my computer has been updating for over 24 hours how do i get it to stop?


    my laptop has been stuck at 7% updating for the past 24 hours i have work in an hour and need my computer

    Windows 10. 12 to 24 hours

    Hi Sandra,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    To change the time format from 12 hour to 24 hour in Windows 10.

    Follow the steps:

    • Navigate to Control panel.
    • In the category view of the control panel, click on the
      ‘Change date, time, or number formats’.
    • Change the short time to HH:mm from the drop down.
    • Press Apply to make the changes.
    • Now your time format will change to 24 hour format.

    Upgrade running over 24 hours

    An upgrade has been running for over 24 hours on my computer. I just have a black screen. I have tried restarting the computer and it just goes back to updating. How do I stop this????
