Windows 10: My computer has gone back to the beginning

All my folders are still there but my taskbar apps, app icons, downloaded apps and I would assume more have just vanished. Now the date on my PC is 1/3/2021. There are only a few apps that still remain, steam is gone but the folders are still there.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
