Windows 10: My computer internet speed is not downloading and uploading as fast as the plan I pay...

I have a Dell Latitude Laptop, running Windows 10, and for some reason, the internet plan I pay for, with download of 400Mbps and upload of 20Mbps is performing at "half" of that, at best. Sometimes only one-quarter of that speed. I have called Spectrum, and they are in fact putting out the faster speed. We confirmed this by doing a speed test on my Apple iPhone 7 32GB, and have confirmed that I am in fact getting the proper internet speeds on that device. Can you help me with an answer and solution on how to allow that the Spectrum plan (400 / 20) internet speed to be functional on my laptop? Thanks!

Slow download speed fast upload on Ethernet.

If a website has a slow server, a fast internet connection may be experienced but may have very slow download speeds. Download speed will be affected with the website server as it also impact your internet connection speed.

You may try a test with other websites and check the results with the website that you are experiencing slow download speed.

upload speed 5x faster than download speed

hey guys i found this really strange. my download speeds are insanely slow, yet my upload speeds are fast! what the heck is the matter? everytime i download a file, i download at 80kbps. when i upload a file to a website, filefront for example, i upload it at 400kbps. why is my download speed so horrible! im running wireless g.

I've been experiencing his problem for several months. When i download something in my computer it takes forever to do so (around 0.2-0.4Mbps), i get fast internet download speed of 10 Mbps, which is the speed of my Internet plan. And when i take another
computer (using the same wifi) the downloads work ok.

I sent my computer to maintenance and they had reset it. They said that the slow internet dowload was due to a conflict in my computer with microsoft automatic updates. But, after I had my computer reset the problem seems to be still present. Does anyone
know what is happening to my computer?

Help please! I'm desperate. Any help will be appreciated!!
