Windows 10: My computer is about to reboot. Here's why...

I need help.


I was normally playing with my computer, just doing some producing. Then the commands application came up that it was finishing an installation. I don't remember anything that I downloaded, so I just ignored it and just left it there. Until my monitor started doing weird things.


It became more darker after it turned off and on which didn't look like the normal setup it used to be and it just turned off my bluetooth mouse. I checked to see why and I was trying to find out why it was off and realized the button for enabling bluetooth is suddenly gone. I started to panic inside, trying not to make so much noise. I just went ahead and planned out what's going on. The next thing I saw felt like somebody was hacking me.


"The computer is about to reboot." It said in 5 minutes it will reboot, but if you have already saved your stuff you can press "Yes" and start the reboot now. I pressed no because I was still working on the thing. It has already been 5 minutes or so. I don't know if it was 15 minutes, so I just reset my computer and logged back in. Nothing's happening now. Somebody help me, I don't know what's going on... I tried checking the action bar for the bluetooth setting and it wasn't even there. I checked again in the settings and it's still gone.


I just want to get my bluetooth mouse back to the computer and the brightness, I'm using a laptop and it's displaying on a monitor. That's all I want.

• Have you checked if the hard disk is set as first boot device in the BIOS?
• Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
• What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?

I would suggest the following steps :

• Press Windows + X
• Click on Device Manager
• Right click on TouchPad drivers in the list.
• Choose Upgrade Drivers
• Reboot computer

Check if this helped to fix the issue.

 

Computer Won't Reboot - AMD Data Change...Updata New Data to DMI

If he is getting stuck at verifying DMI pool data, that means his BIOS isn't finishing the POST process before it's hanging up. Although I'm confused now because he said he tried re-installing windows which would indicate that the machine is getting through the entire POST process.

I'm confused now. I think we need a better, more descriptive version of what exactly is happening.

Maybe a full step by step process of what is happening?
