    I've had this odd problem with my computer, where I cannot enter any application in admin mode, the file loads for a while and then I get an error "access denied" even though I am on my admin account, which should have admin permissions. This makes me unable to run command console in normal mode with admin permissions, try to restore my PC etc.


    Another odd problem I always get is that I can't run .msi or .exe files as I also get an error - either path is gone or access denied as well.


    And lastly, I get two most of the time one, though error on each startup - MKChelper.exe and the other one is less prevalent now, than it was before so I cannot remember what it was.


    I have honestly no clue what's going on with the PC, I had this problem before and I drove to the shop that built the computer, they fixed it, but now because of the lockdown I can't really drive anywhere with it so I need to take matters in my own hands.


    I use Windows 10, recent update, 64bit, SSD and HDD drives.

    Unfortunately adding another user isn't that simple. Every time I press the option to add another user, this window comes up. My old profile is there and I would love to re-add it but I don't see a way to add a new user, whether its a brand new one or the old one that I had before.

    Well.... I did it but I regret it now. I followed the steps and it did indeed setup the system admin account... but it also wiped my old user account so when it booted up it did so with just the system admin account and put my computer as though windows was just installed... all old software is there (as though it was just installed without configuration) but my pictures, videos, documents... all gone.

    win 7 need perm to delete files

    Safe mode might work. And checking the perm settings for those files.
