Windows 10: My computer is connected to the internet, but the browser says it's disconnected?

My computer Windows 11 can successfully connect to the Internet where there are no issues detected in the troubleshooter, and where it says 'connected' in the network settings, however, whenever I try to search for something online, the web browser will just say DNS not found, or, youre disconnected. I have tried several different things in no particular order and nothing has worked:Restart the modem/routerRestart the computerChange Network Setup to automatic in servicesReplace the hosts fileFlush DNSClear cookiesChange browsersWinsock reset/IP resetConnect to 4G instead of 5GRestart the

Connect and Disconnect internet

I just need to click the network icon in notification area, select my WiFi network and click Connect / Disconnect:





Selecting Connect automatically I don't have to enter the network security key manually:

Please reply, did you try performing System restore as suggested in the above post?



If haven’t tried performing System restore, flush your PC’s
DNS cache by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved. Performing the below steps will clear DNS cache from the computer and renew the IP configuration set on the computer.

• Press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Command prompt (Admin) from the context menu.
• Type the following command and press Enter after each entries:
  • ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /registerdns
  • ipconfig /release
  • ipconfig /renew
• Close the windows and check if the changes are effective.

If the above steps does not resolve the issue, perform
System restore by following steps mentioned in the above post and check if it helps.

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the search bar and press “Enter”.
• In the “Troubleshooting” window, click on “View All” on the left pane.
• Click on “Internet Connections”.
• Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Run as Administrator”.
• Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
