    My computer is crashing or freezing randomly and I want to know how to fix it


    I have been facing a problem since early December 2024, every so often my computer screen will freeze and the computer will distort audio in a way that sounds as if a moment of it is caught and repeated, there is no blue screen or forced shut down. Every time this happens I have to manually turn the computer off, I have done some of my own searching and asked questions on this site to try and find out what is wrong, but I have been unable to figure it out, I have tried updating windows, sfc /scannow, dism ... /restorehealth, I have checked for malware, I have tried to update and roll back the

    Windows 10 freezes randomly


    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin
    I had tried that as well... no result.

    To better assist you regarding Windows 10 which freezes randomly, please provide the following:

    • Which is the last Windows update build you've applied to the computer?
    • Are there any third party applications that are currently installed?
    Furthermore, we suggest that you do a BIOS update to your computer. Here are the steps:

    • Check the motherboard manufacturer's website to find the specific model of your motherboard.
    • Go to the computer manufacturer's website.
    • Look for the computer model that you're using.
    • You should find any available BIOS update.
