    My computer is messed up from RD C:\ /S /Q can you help me?


    I accidentally ran the command RD C:\ /S /Q and now everything is messed up. My computer won’t run and I can’t access the BIOS menu because my laptop screen is broken. Please someone find a solution. Ps I have a Lenovo legion.

    RD /S /Q DESKTOP

    Hi, I ran RD /S /Q and cd'ed to the desktop to delete a corrupted folder but everything on my desktop disappeared. Is there a fix for this? Please help il lost over 5 months of data.

    Delete Windows.old Folder in Windows 10  


    Tried all your suggestions, not just the one below, and the Windows.old will not delete.

    Successful: takeown /F "C:\Windows.old" /A /R /D Y

    Successful: icacls "C:\Windows.old" /grant *S-1-5-32-544:F /T /C /Q

    Access Denied and lists all folders and files: RD /S /Q "C:\Windows.old"

    RD Gateway Server - how to remove permanently

    Hello, At my previous job, I was asked to take certain steps (don't remember now what they were) but it was to set up RDP to use a Gateway server. Now that I've changed jobs, I still see the old IP and Gateway server information. I went to registry and deleted the entries from Terminal client and servers. However, I still see a server name listed under RDP-Advanced-Settings-Use these RD Gateway Server settings. I have opted for - Do not use RD Gateway server but was wondering how to remove the old server name entry completely. Thanks
