Windows 10: My computer is not operational.

Last night I was working on some assignments and I can't remember if I shut off my computer or if I forgot to. It was still on the charger when I realised. My power button is still lit telling me that the screen is on, but my screen is not responding and is still black. Also my computer is also hot to the touch. I don't know what happened and how to fix it. Please help

Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

• What happens when you try to attach files?
• Did you receive any error message?
• Which application are you talking about?
• Which was the previous operating system installed on the computer?

I suggest you to run the program in Compatibility mode and check if it helps, please follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Program
• Click on Properties
• Click on Compatibility tab
• Select Run this program in compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.

Sometimes, this could be due to two operating system installed in your computer. Just to make sure this is not the case, I suggest you to try the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + R.

2. Type msconfig and press enter.

3. Click the "boot" tab and check if there are any other operating system listed.

4. In addition, change the timeout time to 3 seconds(default)
