Windows 10: My computer is stuck on Preparing Automatic Repair

My computer is stuck on the preparing automatic repair loading screen for 30 minutes. I tried to restart the computer by powering it off and on again but it doesn’t work. The day before, my computer crashed and when I turned the computer on, it was fixing files. After completion, the computer was stuck on the loading screen, so I decided to let it load for the rest of the night. When I woke up, the computer was off and when I turned it on, it was stuck on the logo for 2 minutes. I decided to switch it on and off again to troubleshoot the computer but here I am now.

I'd like to verify if you're computer is still stuck on Preparing Automatic Repair state. If not, I'd suggest to perform the steps below:

1. Force shutdown your laptop, check first if your computer will boot normally. If not, after your computer restarts several times. you'll see the Windows 10 Boot Options menu.

2. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options.

3. Choose Command Prompt, copy and paste the commands below and press Enter the after each line:

• bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd
• bootrec.exe /fixmbr
• bootrec.exe /fixboot

Win 10 stuck at preparing automatic repair

Preparing automatic repair black screen afterwards stuck

Fixing this gaming PC for a friend. His computer gets stuck on the windows logo with the dotted spinning circle. In the past to fix this i've done a startup repair. But this time, the PC starts the Preparing Automatic Repair, then screen goes black, where normally it should be showing diagnosing your pc before loaded the Automatic Repair screen.

What should I attempt to try next?
