  2. Cancel a pending upgrade to Windows 11

No one on this thread understands the issue, please read carefully. I have the same issue.

I upgraded to Windows 11 and reverted back to Windows 10.

Now with Windows 10, it continuously tries to download and install Windows 11 again. See below:

The best I can do is Pause Updates. Doing so doesn't allow me to update Windows 10. I'm being forced to Upgrade to Windows 11 (I didn't ask to do this, in fact I just reverted from Windows 11).

I want to cancel the Upgrade to Windows 11 which initiated on its own without my consent. The current status is how it shows above. Ready to download and install Windows 11 but no way to stop it.

    What I want:

    • Windows 10 to stop Upgrade to Windows 11 process
    • Ability to update Windows 10 without it upgrading/installing to Windows 11
    • Windows 10 with the ability to update

  3. Cancel a pending upgrade to Windows 11

I am having the exact same issue as well. &, as others have mentioned, after having problems with Windows 11 from the get-go, I do not want to run Windows 11 and wish to stay with Windows 10. I did look to see if there might be a restore point that I could revert back to. Nope & also found out that there were no restore points which is odd because I do remember creating some for just this reason.

    Windows 11 upgrade without consent

My windows upgraded to windows 11 while in sleep mode without my consent. How do I go back to windows 10, restore my previous settings and eliminate the possibility of this occurring again?
