Windows 10: my computer keeps crashing BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE Can someone help...

my computer is a Asus M4A79XTD Evo 2 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394, with QuadCore AMD Athlon II X4 640, 3000 MHz 15 x 200

Windows10 - 2004


It keeps crashing and this apparently sometimes creates error on the disks


I ran the app BlueScreenView, that says the file ntoskrnl.exe is at fault.


But unfortunately I cannot go further and understand what is the rootcause.


Can someone look at my dump file and provide some help ?

Thank you again, I'll keep using system as you suggest - zbook is still awaiting many more results from me, so the PC is going to be busy!

And I shall post more recent logs (as per my first post) in 24hrs. Fingers crossed - default position for me *Smile

Amazing how rapidly transfer speed (appears to) detiorate. Just an average of 143 MB/s - did not expect that from a reasonable quality 6Gb/s sata drive?

As suggested, will let error check run overnight.

Shift + restart only gave 3 options - no Safe Mode
1. Continue ( to win10)
2. Trouble Shoot
3. Shutdown/Turn-off

Fast start-up is turned off.

Computer keeps crashing and having BSoD.

So I tried the driver verifier, my computer hasn't crashed yet. I did it step by step, and I'm understanding that I need to wait for my computer to crash so I can find out this devious little driver?

Edit: My PC just crashed, but it doesn't give me a BSoD. It simply... Crashes.
