Windows 10: My computer keeps giving me a page fault in non paged area when playing video games

I believed it to be because the games were graphically intensive, but I just recently got one on a game that is less than a gigabyte. I am getting the errors when playing Halo Infinite, Warhammer 40k: Darktide, and just recently a small game called Lethal Company. how do i fix my computer from continually shutting down with a blue page stating - page fault in non paged area ?

Hi. Last few days keep getting page fault in non paged area and computer takes 30 mins to fix itself. am sure to do with updates but dont know how to turn them off. any help appreciated thanks.

 

BSOD after exiting a game: Page Fault in Non Paged Area


Hi there,

so as the title suggests, I had just closed my "Metal Gear Solid V" game and returned to desktop when I got a BSOD. The BSOD said there was a page fault in a non paged area, as well as an error with a .dll file but I didn't manage to get its name.

I've never gotten a BSOD on this computer before. I've had the computer for a little over a year now. Also I've played that game for over a month with no problems.

The computer has been functioning normally thus far.
