Windows 10: My computer keeps rebooting few times per day when not being used

Here is the error I found. Windows 10 Computer (orginally 8) keeps rebooting to install updates

I understand that your computer keeps restarting because of updates and I will be happy to answer your query. Let me ask you;

• Which security software is installed in the computer?
• Do you remember making any specific change in the computer prior to the issue?
• Are you referring to an update or multiple?

This could be due to several reasons and to diagnose the issue, I would suggest you to try the steps below and check;

Step 1: Remove any external devices connected to PC (except mouse and keyboard)

Step 2: Disable security software and check.

Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software,
you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Step 3: If you are referring to multiple updates, I would suggest you to try installing 4-5 updates at a time and then try restarting the computer.

Windows 10: computer keeps tabbing out of currently used program

• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• Have you tried updating your Windows 10 computer to its latest update?
• Have you tried to turn off the Get tips, tricks and suggestions as you use Windows
  in the Notification & Actions Settings of your Windows 10 and see if you will still encounter the same issue?
  

If you are not able to turn off that in the Notification & Actions Settings, you can follow the steps below:

• Press the Windows key.
• Type Notifications & Actions.
• Deselect the option Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows.
• Restart your computer.

PC rebooting itself if not used for 15 minutes

Hi,

We will try resetting the power plans to default and check if it helps.

To reset power plan, refer to the below steps:

• Click start and type cmd, right click on cmd
  and select run as administrator.
• This will open command prompt with admin rights, now type the below command and hit enter:

powercfg -restoredefaultschemes

• Once the command is complete, reboot the computer and check if it helps.
