Computer shuts down when playing a game

So I did a clean windows 10 (previously ran W7) install on my friend's computer and he's been getting instant shut downs when playing Dawn of War 2 specifically.

He has tried several other games including Dawn of War 3, Star Wars the old Republic, Starbound, etc. None of the other games seem to cause issues.

I have noticed in the event viewer a warning event along with every critical error that is associated with the computer shutting off. Event ID 219 with swd\wpdbusenum in the details. I have a feeling this warning is related to the computer crashing.

Computer crashes and restarts when playing games.

when playing games my computer shuts down completely and restarts when I look into the event viewer I get the kernel-power error 41. A little later into the event viewer i get WHEA-logger error 18.

has anyone any ideas has to what this means .
