Windows 10: My computer keeps "soft crashing" and I don't know why. Can you help?

So, I've been dealing with a rather strange issue with my computer. At random times, and sometimes right after booting up, my computer does what I would call a "soft crash." It becomes partially non-responsive. First, the sound will cut out and then the rgb on my keyboard will shut off, but I can still type. I can still use the mouse and click on programs. Sometimes they open, sometimes not. The task manager is unresponsive and on the few rare occasions that it does come up, it doesn't display anything. I just bought a Samsung Focus AT&T Rev.1.3. It comes with OS version 7629. I don´t know wich version is that, NoDO? Mango? Third Pary apps just crash after I open them, help!

 

Computer keeps crashing

when its in the l last step of installing windows vista it crashes i think its a hardware issue because the is the second disk it has done it on ( i returned the other one) any help would be great system is in the system specs its windows vista ultimate also

• Were you still able to login to the computer after it happens?
