Windows 10: My Computer Needed a Factory Reset and Support Assistant Didn't Give Me A Chance to Back up

My computer needed to restart while I was working on it, and unfortunately the Windows Support Assistant came up on the screen and went through checking my machine before concluding it needed a factory reset due to irreparable damage. Support Assistant stated that I will be given a chance to back up my files before the factory reset will be completed, and so I clicked next, believing that the next screen will send me to where I can back up my files. The screen that followed showed something to do with back up image, which I mistakenly thought was the backup process but shockingly after this loaded, it had conducted a factory reset on my computer and had effectively wiped it clean! I have found and even purchased programs that claim to recover deleted files but so far they are only detecting my lost program files, but none of my personal files. All my documents, pictures and other important files are gone. What can I do at this point? I feel utterly cheated and misled by this entire process. I would really love to recover all my files once again.

Please let me know what my options are.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it

There is not much to do than again factory reset your computer.

Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery starts automatically if Windows will not startup. The recovery environment allows you to diagnose hardware issues, repair issues, back up files, and restore factory settings. You can start the recovery environment at any time.
Verify the list of systems on which Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery is supported.

You should able to factory reset with Windows 10 Installation DVD. You can create Windows 10 installation DVD/USB with Windows 10 Media Creation Tool.
