Windows 10: My computer no longer works after windows 11

My computer is unusable after windows 11. My mouse no longer appears and my keyboard no longer responds. My computer works, the lighting on the fn key appears when I touch it but it is unresponsive to the computer. My mouse is no longer visible & is unresponsive by the computer. Everything was working fine previous to the update. I have tried EVERYTHING. It does not work anymore. I have uninstalled the update. Will you be buying me a new computer?

Computer no longer working

clearing the CMOS worked, but I had to unplug one of my hard drives. I am trying to reinstall windows on this HD but during the install I get "Error: Installation Failed: D:\I386\asms. Error Message : Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)."

Any suggestions?

Yahoo no longer supports IE 11


Resurrected this thread because I've found a workaround/fix for this problem, as it turns out it is a Microsoft problem. Happened to see a topic on a Yahoo Forum titled "Yahoo Mail switches to Basic view after installing Windows 10 Anniversary Update" I've posted a screen shot of the post below. I did what was suggested and it worked immediately on both computers that had this problem. Tools > Compatibility View settings uncheck "Use Microsoft compatibility lists"

Now the problem is actually resolved thanks to Arcazeon on the Yahoo Forum *Biggrin

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter
