    Hey!I have a Lenovo Yoga 500, and it is running Windows 10 Home, 64 bit, 21H2. I have checked the specs, and it should be able to run 8GBs RAM. I have one 8 GB stick not 2 x 4GB and I have double checked that the RAM works on another machine, and that it is mounted correctly.I have a really hard time getting the machine to see all of my RAM. The BIOS menu says it is only 4GB installed. I cant find any places to change those numbers. I have also done every trick that I have found on youtube, to no avail. msconfig/checking the use maximum-box etc, knowing that these adjustmensts will not

    Windows shows 8GB RAM installed but 4GB RAM is usable

    Hi There,

    I've just upgraded my pc from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. Windows seems to have detected this upgrade but why does it show as only 4GB RAM available. The following is what I have tried so far with no luck:

    • I have tried the msconfig method on ensuring maximum memory is not checked.
    • physically removed the new RAM and reinstalled it
    Any thoughts/suggestions on how i can resolve this matter?

    8GB stick of DDR 4 ram price

    The photo you included shows 2 sticks installed, which would be 2 x 4GB. Does your computer currently have 2 x 4GB sticks installed or 1 x 8GB and you want to add a second 8GB to increase to 16GB?

    system shows 4gb usable instead of 8gb

    System specs show 4gb ram but I have two 8gb ram sticks installed. How do I go about using the full 8gb on both sticks?
