Windows 10: My computer recently started restarting suddenly while gaming

Hello,I've started having this problem recently and would love some help in diagnosing it. I had a similar issue in the past that was helped by flashing BIOS, reinstalling my GPU driver with "driver only" settings. So I feel like this is a software issue again but the same troubleshooting hasn't worked yet. Also forgive me for being a relative novice with knowing all my hardware info and such. I think this is the info needed:Motherboard: ASRock BIOS: B550M-C P1.6 just recently updated to 3.40Processer: SAMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-CoreGPU: AMD Ryzen 6700XTPSU: 800 Watts I have to take apart my towe

Computer restarts!

Hey everyone, I have a problem with my computer that just recently started to happen.
My computer restarts whenever I go to play a game, and only then!

I have never had this problem before and it just started happening, I am almost 100% sure it is because of overheating, when I start my computer it's on 42, whenever I start a game it quickly rises to about 53-55 then restarts..
I have a Asus K8N motherboard and I cant find anywhere in the BIOS on how to stop it from restarting!

Steam games recent list does not update

The recently used program list for the Steam computer game client never updates. It says recent but it misses actual recent games that I've played and lists games that I haven't touched for months or years. How can I investigate the reason for this list not updating? It works just fine for other programs on the Start Menu. I tried searching for information but the word "update" in the search string returns results about Steam and Windows updates and not about the recent list updating.

• When did you start encountering the sudden restart issue?
• Were there any changes made on your computer before encountering the issue?
• Are you encountering a blue screen error when your computer restarts unexpectedly? If so, what is the error message that you're getting in the blue screen

It is possible that there is a third party service running in the background that is causing the sudden restart issue.While we wait for the answers to our questions, kindly
perform a clean boot for us to verify if the issue will occur while your third party services are disabled.
