  2. Windows 11 - No Display Output from a previously functional USB-C to HDMI adapter setup

At home I use two monitors, and I have to connect one of them using a USB-C to HDMI adapter (my PC only has 1 HDMI). Previously, this adapter method has worked flawlessly since I got this laptop. But, this morning when I logged in, I had no output to my display that utilizes the adapter. My computer is recognizing the USB-C to HDMI adapter as a 'Billboard Device' instead of the monitor itself.

So far I've tried the following troubleshooting methods:

    • Swapped to a new USB-C to HDMI adapter
    • Swapped HDMI cable in use
    • Restarted/Updated all devices
    • Uninstalled/reinstalled NVIDIA Display adapter driver
    • Rolled back to a previous NVIDIA Display adapter driver (looks like a new one was installed automatically on 5/2)
    • Confirmed my USB-C port supports "Displayport Alt Mode"
Here's the specific devices being used too, in case that helps:

Dell S2721DGF Display <--> High Speed HDMI Cable <--> Anker Powerexpand+ HDMI to USB-C adapter <---> ASUS TUF Gaming A17 Laptop

Do you guys have any ideas? I'm pretty stumped. Have no idea why it seemingly quit working on me overnight.
